We are also required to teach religious education to all pupils and follow the Croydon Scheme of Work.
Teachers make regular individual assessments for all children throughout the year. Individual progress is tracked rigorously through our in house systems to ensure that all children reach their potential and make good progress. It also allows us to initiate target based intervention if children need some additional support or if they need to be challenged in a particular area of the curriculum.
In June, children in Year Two complete the nationals SATs tests in Reading, Writing and Maths. These tests help inform the 'teacher assessment' of your child. The results are reported to you on your child's end of year report.
The SATs presentation can be downloaded here.
