Volunteering in school

Volunteers bring a range of skills and experience that enhances the learning opportunities for our children. We welcome volunteers from the local community. A volunteer is an unpaid adult who provides support to our school.


BECOMING A VOLUNTEER

We are currently looking for a volunteer for our school office, to help out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (from 9.00am-3.30pm) to start after the Easter break. 

Anyone wishing to become a volunteer should complete an application form - see below, or request a paper copy from the school office.   Before starting to help in school volunteers will be required to complete a number of forms including a Volunteer Agreement. Two references and an enhanced-DBS check will be required, which means that the volunteer will not be able to begin volunteering until this is received. Volunteers in school must abide by our by our Confidentiality Policy. All volunteers work under the supervision of the staff to which they are assigned.
