Pupil Premium

Background

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of school age from low-income families who are known to have been eligible for free school meals (FSM) in the last 6 years; for children who have been adopted from care or who have left care; and for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.

Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium Grant as they see fit. However, we will be held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support pupils from low-income families. We are required to publish information online about how we have used the Pupil Premium funding. This will ensure that parents and other stakeholders are made fully aware of the attainment of pupils covered by the Premium and the extra support that they receive from the school.

Pupil Premium 2023 - 2024

In 2023-2024 we receive £1455 per pupil known to be eligible for FSM (or has been eligible within the last 6 years).  We receive £2530 for  pupils who have been adopted from care or who have left care. We continue to receive £335 for those children whose parents serve in the armed forces.
